Across India, you will find thousands of sacred stones called Shiva Lingas (or Lingams). In traditional Hindu mythology, the Lingam is an abstract representation of the Hindu deity Shiva. It is a symbol of divine energy, creation, and the infinite nature of the universe.
Every year, at the end of February or the beginning of March, millions of people celebrate Maha Shivaratri. This festival translates to "The Great Night of Shiva."
