Review: Integration of Tenses & Relative Clauses
One student will be the Witness. Choose a classmate secretly (do not say their name). Give 3 clues using Relative Clauses to describe them.

To tell a complete story, you must connect different tenses naturally:
Use Present Perfect Continuous or Past Continuous.
Use Simple Past for the sudden events.
Use Relative Clauses to describe people/things.
For five years, the DEA has been following some leads about a large band that traffics narcotics from South America to the US. According to the report, this band has been doing these illegal activities since 2015, and nobody has been able to stop them. The band leaders are smart and ingenious; they constantly change their methods to transport the drugs.
Recently, the DEA received a tip-off about an abandoned building on South Lincoln Street. The officers went to the place, accompanied by a large number of police cars. They surrounded the building and entered using force. Inside, they found lots of different types of drugs. They even found a kitchen where they cooked methamphetamine.
According to the police, the raid was a success, even though they couldn’t catch the leader. They are sure he left the place before they got there.
[TRANSCRIPT: INTERROGATION ROOM B]
The police are questioning a witness who said he had seen El Malo running away.
Officer: Look at these photos. Is the man you saw any of these men?
Witness: I’m not sure. It happened so fast. I was walking on the sidewalk when he rushed out of that building and pushed me away.
Officer: Okay. Look carefully. Tell me, is the man you saw in these photos?
Witness: No, the man who I saw is not in these photos. The man I saw is there.
Officer: Where?
Witness: There, that photo on the wall. That man who is standing next to the mayor. That’s the man I saw.
Officer: What?! This man? Are you positive? But that’s the Police Commissioner!
The Officer needs to write a summary to the FBI to request the arrest of the Commissioner.
Instructions: Write 3 sentences. Use the Present Perfect Continuous to say what the Commissioner has been doing, and a Relative Clause to describe him.
