Good evening. This is Robert Makenzie with the Connecting Us Voice Report. Today we have a report on some events from the past 24 hours.

Last Friday evening, the Boston University dean, Dr. Charles Long, was attacked when he was walking to his car in the campus parking lot. He was hit on the head. Students reported that they saw him lying on the ground while they were going to their cars.

When questioned, Dr. Long said that he saw a shadow behind him. Suddenly, he felt a terrible pain and fainted. He said he was sure it had been a student, because the folder with the exams that he was carrying was gone.

And we continue with our news. Last night wasn’t good for some robbers. After successfully robbing a small store, they decided to celebrate in a nearby park. Some people called the police because they were making too much noise. When the police arrived, the robbers were too drunk to escape. They still had the money they had taken from the store!

And now our last report. A terrible car crash stopped traffic for 30 minutes last night. The driver crashed against a parked car. She said she was driving when her phone rang. When she tried to grab it, she lost control. She promised she would pay for all the damages she had caused.
